Founded in 1955 by John A. Rensing in Hicksville, New York, Renco Electronics is an electronics manufacturer now based in Rockfledge, Florida. Being a leader in design and manufacturing, Renco Electronics distributes Transformers, Inductors, Chokes and Coils to companies all over the world. Renco Electronics does build to print, works in conjunction with their clients’ engineering teams and provides custom designs to their clients’ specifications.
Chokes
Renco’s standard shielded or unshielded Choke offerings consist of over 15 different product families. Their extensive inductance values range as low as 0.22uH to 100mH, and high saturation currents from 0.039 Amps up to 233 Amps.
Common Mode Chokes
Renco’s Common Mode Choke offerings consist of over 31 different product categories in molded, encapsulated, vacuum impregnated or open construction with horizontal or vertical mounting. Dielectric withstanding voltage go up to 4,750 volts and complies with international safety standards.
Inductors
Renco offers standard shielded or unshielded inductors with inductance values ranging from 0.10uH to 180mH, and high saturation currents from 0.084 Amps up to 980 Amps.
Surface Mounts
Renco’s standard shielded or unshielded surface mount inductor offerings consist of over 70 different product families in molded, encapsulated, vacuum impregnated or open construction with gull wing and J type mounting options.
Toroids
The Toroid Coils from Renco consists of over 7 product types in molded, encapsulated, vacuum impregnated or open construction with radial, axial or surface mount footprints in vertical and horizontal mounting. Our extensive inductance values go from 1uH to 5.6mH, and high saturation currents from 0.030 Amps up to 200 Amps. All of our Coils and Transformers are designed to meet UL Class B 130 Celsius or better.
Transformers
Renco’s specialty are their 50/60Hz, 47Hz to 400Hz or 100kHz transformers in low profile packages that come in power, current sense, gate drive and flyback designs. Power ratings go from 1 VA to 175 VA and input voltages from 120 volts to 230 volts gives our customers a wide variety to choose from.
