Most of the connector covers we provide utilize our patented NorTech™ compression insert system which virtually eliminates EMI / RFI emissions. D-Subminiature Connectors
Northern Technologies offers a wide array of D-Subminiature Connectors to meet your every need. Terminations offered include crimp connections, solder cup and solder mount.
D-Subminiature Connector Covers
A Connector Cover fits over the electrical portion of a connector and are designed to provide mechanical protection. Northern Technologies’ Connector Covers can protect the D-Sub Connectors from dust and/or other contamination.
Ethernet Connector Covers
To prevent network errors and potential downtime, Northern Technologies’ Ethernet Connector Covers serves as a protection against dust and debris entering switches, routers, servers and media converters.
RS232 Modular Adapters
The range of RS232 Modular Adapters that Northern Technologies offer includes connectors with metalised plastic cover or plastic cover with and without internal shield.
RJ45 Strain Relief Boots
Northern Technologies RJ45 Strain Relief Boots are available in a variety of colours with the choice of Standard Boots made of flexible PVC or Retro-Fit Boots made of polypropylene.
V.35 Connectors & Covers
V.35 is a high-speed serial interface used for all line speeds that exceed 20 kbps. It supports higher Data Transfer Rates (DTR), connectivity between Data Communication Equipment (DCE) and Data Terminal Equipment (DTE). Cover Kits are also offered to protect V.35 Connectors.
BNC Connectors
BNC connectors are attached to the ends of coaxial cables and can be used for connecting signals such as RF signals and video signals on consumer electronics.
Shielded RJ45 Jacks with Tabs
Northern Technologies’ Shielded RJ45 Jacks has an insulation resistance of 500 Megohms (minimum), can withstand 1000V RMS, contact resistance of 30 Milliohms (maximum) and the durability of 1000 mating cycles.
