Formed in 1982, Euroquartz Limited is an independent UK-based manufacturer and supplier of quartz crystals, oscillators, filters and frequency-related products. Euroquartz Limited designs and manufactures a comprehensive range of frequency-related components and custom build components to your requirements.
In 1987, Euroquartz Limited acquired Brookes Crystals, a UK manufacturer of quartz crystals formed during World War II, which established Euroquartz Limited as a significant UK manufacturer of frequency-control products. In 2000, Euroquartz Limited merged businesses with Webster Electronics and Frequency Products Limited, companies operating in allied and complementary frequency-control product areas. The merger has pooled experience and strengths, positioning the group as global leading suppliers in the market.
A further new venture has been the formation of Euroquartz Filters which specialises in the design and manufacture of custom electronic filters. In 2004, Euroquartz Filters engineering and production was moved from Southampton into the main Crewkerne-based production plant. Euroquartz Filters enables concentration in the specialist niche market for electronic filters.
Quartz Crystals
Quartz Crystals from Euroquartz Limited are suitable for surface-mount or through hole applications. A wide range of products are available to suit various frequencies, temperatures and oscillator circuits.
Oscillators
Oscillators are available in typical temperature ranges from -40°C to 85°C, and -55°C to 125°C or special ones for rugged and high temperature environments.
Quick Turnaround Oscillators
Euroquartz Limited introduces the benefits of Quick Turnaround Oscillators in applications where time is tight or stocks are scarce. Their Quick Turnaround Oscillators are available on short turnaround lead times.
VCXOs
Voltage-Controlled Crystal Oscillators (VCXOs) are oscillators that uses crystals to determine its frequency and can be adjusted by changing a control voltage. Euroquartz’s industry-standard, 14 pin DIL package have frequency ranging from 625 kHz to 50.0 MHz.
TCXOs
Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillators (TCXOs) are crystal oscillators specially designed to operate in high-temperature environments. Euroquartz Limited offers TCXOs that can withstand any temperatures and temperature ranges from -40°C to 85°C, and -55°C to 125°C.
OCXOs
An Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillator (OCXO) is a crystal oscillator that has higher frequency stability. Euroquartz Limited’s OCXOs promises excellent stability, acceleration sensitivity and low phase noise.
Filters
The range of Filters offered includes Helical Filters, Crystal Filters, GPS Dielectric Patch Antennas, Ceramic Filters, Microwave Filters and Custom Filters.
