Coto introduces industry’s Lowest Power 1000Hz Magnetic Sensor

March 30, 2025

Coto Technology’s newest product release is the RedRock® RR133-1E83-511 magnetic sensor.  This sensor based on TMR technology provides 1000Hz sensing frequency and consumes only 1.5uA of power.

Coto Technology has announced the release of its new RedRock® RR133-1E83-511 magnetic sensor. This cutting-edge sensor is engineered to meet the demanding requirements of magnetic sensing use cases including magnetic rotation counting and proximity sensing for medical, industrial and consumer applications such as wearable medical devices, flow meters, utility meters or any battery operated device requiring low power, high frequency magnetic sensing.

Key advantages of the RR133-1E83-511 magnetic sensor include:

  • Extremely low power consumption: The RR133 consumes only 1.5uA of average power consumption making it the lowest power 1000Hz magnetic sensor in the industry.
  • Operating voltage range: The RR133 supports an operating voltage range of 2.4 to 5.5V suitable for most battery operated applications.
  • High frequency magnetic sensing: The RR133 can reliably sense high frequency magnetic fields as high as 1000Hz.
  • Very high magnetic sensitivity: The sensor operates with a magnetic flux density of only 14 gauss enabling the use of small and low cost magnets.
  • Wide operating temperature range: The RR133 can operate up to an ambient temperature of 125°C making it suitable for high temperature environments.
