Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors (IGBTs)
The Bourns® IGBT discrete BID series combines technology from a MOS gate and a bipolar transistor, creating the right component for high voltage and high current applications. This device uses advanced Trench-Gate Field-Stop technology providing greater control of the dynamic characteristics while resulting in a lower Collector-Emitter Saturation Voltage (VCE(sat)) and fewer switching losses. In addition, this structure increases the robustness of the device and gives a lower RTH. The Bourns® IGBT solution is suitable for SMPS, UPS and PFC applications.
Resistors
Bourns is a leading provider of resistors, offering a comprehensive array of resistive elements that are suitable for a wide variety of application requirements. They include: Thin film and thick film chip resistors, chip resistor arrays, chip resistor networks, current sense resistors, metal strip shunts, pulse-resistant resistors, sulfur-resistant resistors, UL recognized fusible resistors, high-power resistors, and wirewound resistors.
Potentiometers

These devices are available in conductive plastic, wirewound or Hybritron® element types, and in various sizes. Both single-turn and multiturn models are available.
